PAPER BAG?
Last week I felt like a child again. I packed my first brown paper bag lunch in college. I was estatic to carry around the infamous brown paper bag because my friends always brought them to school, while I was secretly jealous of them. My parents never packed me food, they just gave me money. But now, an independent man, I was able to do it on my own! Not to mention, it saves a tremendous amount of money.
Recently, while reading my daily tumblogs, wetheurban posted a blog on Marie Turnor "Paper Bag" Clutch. At first, I was amazed at how ingenious this designer was, but then I thought, I just rocked my own (and cheap) paper bag last week.
Is this worth $179? You be the judge. I can buy 179 bags of chips.

"MAKE A MOVE, DO YOUR THANG, TURN AROUND, STRIKE A POSE"
Lately, I've been watching music videos to become inspired. Most of college students rarely have time to watch music videos nowadays; we just don't have the time. But if you're lacking inspiration in Fashion, maybe watching music videos of your favorite artists may spice up your wardrobe.
I'm pretty sure 90% of the population have never seen Leighton Meester feat Robin Thicke - Somebody to Love music video. It's been out quite some time, but not enough fashionista/os experience the artistic vision. One word to some up the video: HOT. From sophisticated, yet sultry Leighton to swaggerific Robin, this video exudes classy chic. Spice things up, take some style advice from these two.

TIMBUK2 FOR YOU
If you live in Davis, there is one universal word to describe this town: bikes. Since biking is the new walking; there isn't a reason not to be stylish. Since living here in Davis and the Bay Area, I've seen endless amounts of messenger bags being used, the most popular, Timbuk2.
Timbuk2 is a local bag manufacturing company based in San Francisco, CA. Timbuk2 was created in 1989, for bike messengers. Now it has stepped into the fashion/style scene branching off to laptop bags, camera bags, tote bags, and even Ipad bags.
Timbuk2 offers a customizable bag option. You choose you bag, fabric, and style. Then you're all set to cruise the town.
Here is a video previewing Timbuk2:

A CONVERSATION WITH JEFF STAPLE
Designers rarely get the spotlight because they put their clothes in the forefront. But once in a while, it's good to know your designers, know their thoughts, see their interactions, and understand their concepts.
Jeff Staple is a street wear designer residing in New York. He is the founder/creative director of Staple Design and creative director of Reed Space. Kid you not, he is only 29 years old and is probably on of the most influential designers in the game. His words and intelligence surfaces during his sit down interviews. Be amazed. Watch every part, it's worth it.
