Even though the weather has been teasing us with rain this past week in Davis, it's still the start of summer! You may not feel like swimming right now, but in a few weeks, it will be time to break out the swimsuits. Usually at this time of year, I dig through my closet searching for something swim-appropriate only to find a couple tops and bottoms that are outdated and mismatched. Time to purchase a new bathing suit. A retro trend has been developing for swimwear. This look is refreshing and perfect for the start of a new summer!

The perfect swim suit shouldn't be the only thing on your shopping list this summer. Cover ups are great pieces that will keep you looking chic when you're on dry land. Out of the water, you'll need that extra fabric to keep yourself covered and cool while you lounge around the pool or stroll down the beaches.
