Dance II Flitting Love for a Flower

Jaimie and Hok were popular for their dance routine for "The Chairman's Waltz" from the soundtrack of "Memoirs of a Geisha". It became an Emmy-award winning performance. Even though it has been part of seasons past, it still is one of the most memorable and moving performances done on the show.

The dance was under the contemporary dance and was made in a more abstract manner with the story of a hummingbird's love for a flower. The control and precision of their movements in the routine matched each of the characters in the story. Hok's staccato movements for the hummingbird contrasted Jaime's fluid movements for the flower. When the two meshed together in the spontaneity of the movements it became magnetic.

Here's a clip of their performance! Hope you enjoy!
